Students of Macao Polytechnic Institute visited GalaxyArt GalaxyArt hosted a docent-guided tour for Year 4 students from the Bachelor of Arts in Design at Macao Polytechnic Institute on the 23rd November.
Docents shared useful information about exhibition planning and daily operations in an art space. Topics covered included graphic design, digital media application, exhibition planning and layout, lighting, sound, as well as temperature and humidity control, etc. Students enjoyed the tour and actively engaged with our docents. We hope these students will be able to apply from what they have learned in the field trip for their work on exhibition space design in the future.
Kids’ Corner “Drawing Cartoon Characters or Creating Caricatures”
When drawing cartoon characters, you will need to carefully observe the facial features, expressions, as well as body gesture of these characters. These observations are similarly important in creating caricatures, when you will need to exaggerate the characteristic traits of the character you are drawing to achieve the comic effects.
